Describes how to 1) create a Cray System Management Workstation (SMW) bootable back-up drive to replace the primary drive if the primary drive fails; 2) modify a bootable back-up drive in order to boot from and run the SMW from the back-up root partition; and 3) execute an emergency procedure for SMW recovery.
